As a senior communications professional, Michelle is alternately (more often simultaneously) a graphic designer, writer, editor, and project manager. She counts digital and traditional marketing, social media engagement, event planning, and storytelling, among her skills. She earned a BA in Communications from SUNY Empire State College, and has an Associate in Communication Design from FIT. Michelle is a member of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) and ACES: The Society for Editing.

Michelle is especially interested in education, social issues, animal welfare, the importance of the arts in our schools and communities, and using the power of the visual and the written for social good. In all her projects, she is committed to uncluttered design and keeping the world safe from typos.

"Brooklyn-born and raised, I embrace my city roots, but heed the call of the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires, too. Books, jazz, autumn, and the color red, bring on creative energy. As a designer and writer, I love details, especially those associated with old buildings and in the patterns of nature. Lifelong learning, constant observation and curiosity, I believe, are among the keys that spark ideas. I hope for a calm future. Perhaps one day I'll live at the beach, writing, and crafting sea glass jewelry. Or head to the woods to start my dream arts organization in the Berkshires."
